Bleeding Hearts: A Novel
Unusual premise with the 'hero' as a contract murderer. Interesting idea but didn't work well for me as it is difficult to empathise with someone who kills for a living. I can usually find some redeeming features in people but I'm not sure I could find anything in common with someone with such an amoral attitude to life as to kill people for money. Interesting in a way but not terribly fulfilling.
